A young girl must combat the racial discrimination she faces at her school armed only with her stuffed teddy bear companion.
Madeline Dimayuga is a young filmmaker hailing from Katy, TX and a recent graduate of the University of Texas at Austin RTF program. Though usually accustomed to the role of producing, she has made her directorial debut with Play Pretend. She has also served the role of Producer on the MFA graduate pre-thesis film The Gardener (2015), and an independent horror film entitled Who We Were Before (2017). She is currently the head producer on the upcoming Austin, TX based web-series, Mr. Nice Girls (2018).
