This is an hour long documentary about the first Asian American Mayor of San Francisco, Ed Lee. It follows him from growing up poor in Seattle, before moving to the Bay Area where he went from civil rights attorney to city bureaucrat to Mayor. It focuses on how his apolticial character made him both popular and effective. The documentary also details his untimely death and the legacy that he leaves.

Rick is a two time Emmy award winning broadcaster with more than 30 years of local television experience. He started Rick Quan Productions in 2008 and has produced videos for numerous non- profits, including Ronald McDonald House Charities and Kristi Yamaguchi's Always Dream foundation. Rick also recently produced the documentaries "Race: The Al Young Story"and the award winning "Dancing through Life: The Dorothy Toy Story.
